I have found that the ones that I've tasted have tasted extremely toasty, which totally overpowers the green tea flavor instead of having a good synergy. They make for great bedtime teas due to that heavy toasty savory flavor. I will have to try the choice brand as I've never had one where the rice and popcorn didn't overpower everything else.
