I believe it's pronounced G as in Good Gen (some people say Jen,) Mai as in My (not may,) Cha as in Chah.

I have found that the ones that I've tasted have tasted extremely toasty, which totally overpowers the green tea flavor instead of having a good synergy. They make for great bedtime teas due to that heavy toasty savory flavor.

I will have to try the choice brand as I've never had one where the rice and popcorn didn't overpower everything else. The way you describe it as more mild is a 'must try.'

Another great entertaining and informative episode.. thanks!
